NSCP Training Quality Assurance
Guidance in Chapter 1 of Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 requires the NSCP to “monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training, including multi-agency training, for all professionals in the area” (para. 1.4).
The quality assurance process is designed to be undertaken in the spirit of improving and sharing best practice in safeguarding children training across Norfolk. Feedback given will be evidence-based, constructive and focused on positive development of training opportunities.
The system will ask you to create an account for your organisation. You can then add more than one course from the same account if you have further courses you wish to submit for quality assurance. This initial stage is self-assessment based and you will be asked a series of questions. Submissions will then be reviewed by a member of the Safeguarding Children Partnership’s Workforce Development Group and feedback will be given via email. A random selection of applications will then be selected for review of materials and course observation.
